Full-time Cook – Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

The Red Barn Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team in Moosomin. This full‑time, permanent position involves preparing a wide range of meals, ensuring food safety, and supporting a fast‑paced dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies and equipment, and keep accurate records.
• Train, supervise, and recruit kitchen staff and helpers, managing overall kitchen operations.
• Clean kitchen and work areas, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
• Coordinate with dietitians or chefs to prepare meals for patients as required.

• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, heavy loads, and long periods of standing.
