About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at The Diplomat Restaurant in Fredericton. This full-time position involves preparing high-quality meals, managing portion sizes, and ensuring a safe dining experience for all guests.
Key responsibilities
- Determine portion sizes and calculate food costs.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes.
- Adapt dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Maintain inventory and accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) required.
- 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting.
