Full-time Bartender – Two Hills, AB

About the role

The Two Hills Inn is seeking a full‑time bartender to join its hospitality team in a rural Alberta setting. You will be responsible for creating an inviting bar environment, serving guests, and maintaining inventory while adhering to provincial liquor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange attractive bar displays and organize cocktail lounge operations.
• Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Serve food, snacks, and beverages to patrons and serving staff.
• Clean the bar area, wash glassware, and maintain the draft beer system.
• Collect and process cash, credit/debit payments, and operate the cash register and video lottery terminal.
• Record, balance, and report beverage sales.
• Order, store, and control bar stock, maintaining accurate inventory.
• Address customer complaints, enforce liquor legislation, and resolve conflict situations.
• Train new staff on bar procedures and service standards.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with excellent oral communication.
• Organized, reliable, and a positive team player.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Possession of Smart Serve and ProServe certifications.
