Full-time Baker – Permanent Position

About the role

YEG Dream Tarts is looking for a dedicated baker to join its busy bake shop in Edmonton. This permanent, full‑time role involves preparing a wide range of doughs, batters and icings for pies, breads, rolls, muffins, cookies and cakes, while meeting special customer orders and tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dough, batters and icings according to recipes or custom orders.
• Bake mixed doughs and batters for various pastries and desserts.
• Operate bakery machinery and maintain equipment.
• Organise and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Ability to distinguish colours and pay close attention to detail.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Dependable, accurate and client‑focused.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with patience and good judgement.
