Full Stack Developer – Global Operations Technology

About the role

Join Scotiabank’s Global Operations Technology team as a Full Stack Developer. You will help design, build, and maintain secure, high‑performance applications that support internal fraud, insider‑threat, AML and risk initiatives across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services ensuring performance and security.
• Build and enhance front‑end applications to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable code following software design principles.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support production systems.
• Participate in code reviews, integrate third‑party systems, and mentor junior developers.
• Manage development tasks via Jira tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
• Create high‑fidelity mockups and prototypes as needed.
• Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and roadmap discussions.
