Frontend Engineer (Vue.js, TypeScript)

About the role

At Atolls, a leading community‑driven shopping platform, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help modernize and enhance our user‑facing platforms. Based in Winnipeg, you will create exceptional user experiences that empower millions of consumers to make confident shopping decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable, high‑quality Vue.js components and user interfaces.
• Lead the migration of our codebase from Twig and Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Transition build tooling from Webpack to Vite to streamline development.
• Integrate with GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and updates.
• Ensure code quality through testing, best practices, and clean architecture.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an agile environment.

Required profile

• Deep experience in modern frontend development and a passion for exceptional user experiences.
• Fundamental understanding of how browsers render code and awareness of modern platform capabilities and limitations.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and Vue.js (familiarity with React is a plus).
