Front-End Developer

About the role

Haply Robotics is looking for a Front-End Developer to own and evolve Haply Hub, the desktop application that connects customers with our haptic hardware, as well as our public website, documentation hub, and product launch pages. This senior‑leaning position offers the chance to shape polished user experiences across desktop and web platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the front‑end of Haply Hub, a Tauri desktop app built with JavaScript/React and a Rust backend, delivering across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Build and maintain the public documentation hub, focusing on information architecture, search, and runnable code examples.
• Ship updates to the main Haply website and release/landing pages for each product launch.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams on configurators and integration UIs for haptic devices and the HARP system.
• Set and enforce front‑end quality standards, including design tokens, componentization, performance, accessibility, and instrumentation.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who takes end‑to‑end ownership of problems and removes blockers proactively.
• Plans changes thoughtfully, documents intent, and seeks review before significant modifications.
• Communicates clearly across domain boundaries and can contribute meaningfully without full domain context.
• Proficient with Git, structured PR/review workflows, and test‑driven development.
• Experience with large, enterprise‑scale codebases and multi‑repo projects.
