Front Desk Manager

About the role

The Front Desk Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front‑office functions, including bell staff, switchboard, and guest services. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, high guest satisfaction, and strong financial performance of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily front‑office operations, maintaining quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and negotiate solutions.
• Supervise staffing levels to align with service, operational, and financial goals.
• Communicate business objectives, recognize performance, and drive results across the team.
• Lead, coach, and mentor front‑desk staff, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensure consistent service delivery in the absence of senior managers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to improve guest experiences.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and a results‑oriented mindset.
