Freelance Social Media Specialist (TikTok & Instagram)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Social Media Specialist to design and execute a full‑stack strategy for TikTok and Instagram. The role focuses on building a premium, education‑first personal brand for a life‑insurance agent, turning client ideas into polished short‑form content that drives organic growth and referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an end‑to‑end social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram from the ground up.
• Define content pillars, positioning, and a consistent posting cadence.
• Produce, film, edit and publish short‑form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) along with graphics, captions and copy.
• Lead the personal rebrand to establish a cohesive, premium, education‑first identity.
• Create educational content on life insurance, family protection and generational wealth.
• Grow the accounts organically, track engagement and report performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling TikTok and Instagram accounts with measurable results.
• Portfolio demonstrating short‑form video production and graphic design.
• Experience with personal or founder‑led brand development and rebranding.
• Strong eye for premium, aspirational aesthetics.
• Ability to simplify complex financial topics; finance or insurance knowledge is a plus.
• Flexible, proactive and collaborative mindset.
