About the role
The Food Service Supervisor will oversee daily food preparation and service operations at our West Vancouver location. You will lead a team of staff, ensure quality standards are met, and manage inventory and reporting responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and oversee tray assembly and trolley delivery.
- Establish work schedules for the team.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
- Ability to estimate ingredient and supply needs accurately.
- Strong record‑keeping of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems.
