About the role
The Food Service Supervisor will lead a small team in a fast‑paced pizza restaurant, ensuring that food preparation, portioning, and service meet quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing stock, and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish work schedules and supervise 3‑4 staff members, including counter attendants and food preparers.
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation and maintain stock records.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Ensure food quality control standards are met and monitor wastage.
- Maintain records of repairs, sales, and stock levels.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision.
- Ability to work in a noisy, wet/damp, hot environment and handle fast‑paced, pressure‑filled shifts.
- Client‑focused, flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Own transportation and bondable security clearance.
