About the role
The Food Service Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the Subway restaurant in Radium Hot Springs. You will ensure that food preparation, portioning, and service meet the brand’s quality and safety standards while maintaining a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities for food preparation and portioning.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation.
- Monitor food quality and service to meet control standards.
- Address customer complaints and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a food‑service setting.
- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to train staff on safety and hygiene procedures.
