Food Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team at Church's Texas Chicken in LaSalle. The role involves overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring quality standards, managing a small staff, and maintaining a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods and work schedules to meet operational targets and shift requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 1‑2 staff members who prepare, portion, and assemble food trays.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly, providing effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate repairs, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
• Check assembly of trays for correct portioning and presentation.
• Ensure the restaurant adheres to all food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1‑2 years of experience in food service or restaurant supervision.
• Ability to work shifts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff and customers.
