Food Service Counter Clerk – Full‑time

About the role

Semolina Catering is looking for a full‑time Food Service Counter Clerk to join its on‑site team in Montreal. You will be the front‑line representative, preparing and presenting food items while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and present a variety of food items at the service counter.
• Assist customers, take orders, answer inquiries, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with food‑safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to meet customer needs and manage order flow.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in food preparation and basic knowledge of food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
• Bilingual communication in English and French is an asset.
• Previous hospitality or food‑service experience preferred.
