Food Service Attendant

About the role

The Copperhouse Eatery + Lounge is looking for a friendly, reliable Food Service Attendant to join our fast‑paced team in Yellowknife. You will support both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs; load buspans and trays.
• Operate dishwashers and hand‑wash items, then store them properly.
• Replenish condiments, supplies and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders, serve at counters or buffet tables, and package take‑out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, appliances and floors.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies, and handle cleaning products safely.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player who can multitask in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
