Food Service Attendant – Airport Café (Montreal)

About the role

Join SSP Canada’s team at Montreal‑Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport as a Food Service Attendant. You will work early‑morning shifts (starting at 4 AM) in a fast‑paced airport café, providing friendly service to travelers while handling orders, payments, and food preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and take orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process cash, credit, and tip payments.
• Prepare and assemble food and beverage items according to menu specifications.
• Maintain stock levels, rotate perishables, and ensure proper storage.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists, including cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including MAPAQ hygiene requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and French.
• Ability to work in a secure airport environment and obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card.
• Legal right to work in Canada and ability to pass Transport Canada security clearance.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Cash handling and basic math.
• MAPAQ hygiene and sanitation certification (preferred).
