Food Processing Labourer

About the role

We are looking for a Food Processing Labourer to join our plant in Saint‑Blaise‑sur‑Richelieu. The role involves handling raw materials, operating equipment and maintaining a safe, clean production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials within the facility.
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• Operate and clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Apply food safety and handling procedures.
• Use MS Office for basic documentation.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 23 kg and perform bending, crouching or kneeling.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Clear criminal record check.
• Team player with reliability and flexibility.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (industrial lift trucks).
• Food Safety certification.
• WHMIS certification.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
