About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Gros Morne Gas Bar. In this role you will ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment while delivering fast, courteous service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
- Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
- Keep records of food quantities used.
- Package take‑out food and prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take orders.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area and ensure supplies are stocked throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with a positive attitude.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to multitask and take initiative.
- Reliability and punctuality.
