Food Counter Attendant

About the role

Join Tim Hortons in Sooke as a Food Counter Attendant, providing fast, friendly service in a busy café environment. You will handle food preparation, customer orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs after customers leave.
• Operate dishwashers and hand‑wash items, ensuring all kitchenware is sanitized.
• Portion, wrap, heat and finish simple food items for service.
• Take customer orders at the counter or buffet and serve food promptly.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars and other service stations.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in appropriate refrigeration or storage areas.
• Maintain a clean kitchen by sweeping, mopping, polishing floors and sanitizing work surfaces.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely.
• Remove kitchen garbage and manage waste disposal.
