Food Counter Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Counter Attendant to join our Dairy Queen team in Dauphin. You will work in a fast‑paced environment serving customers, preparing simple food items and maintaining a clean dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and kitchen work surfaces.
• Replenish condiments, supplies and package take‑out orders.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods.
• Take customers’ orders and operate the counter.
• Sanitize dishes, kitchen equipment and storage areas by hand.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and cupboards.
• Remove kitchen garbage, sweep, mop and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.

Required profile

• High school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks.
• Client‑focused, reliable, team player with strong multitasking ability.
