Food Counter Attendant

About the role

Join Tim Hortons as a Food Counter Attendant in Edmonton, where you will help deliver fast‑service meals to customers in a friendly environment. No prior experience is required – we provide on‑the‑job training and flexible shift options.

Key responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
• Package take‑out orders, portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple menu items.
• Serve customers at the counter or buffet area.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars and other display cases.
• Take customer orders and operate the point‑of‑sale system.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn; no experience needed.
• Availability for morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Commitment to health‑and‑safety standards.

Required skills

• Food preparation equipment operation.
