Floral Clerk – Sales/Service (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join Safeway’s floral department in Calgary as a part‑time Clerk focused on sales and service. You will provide friendly, attentive assistance to customers while maintaining an attractive and well‑organized workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Enter or scan items selected by customers and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Handle cash, debit cards, cheques and other payment methods, make deposits and balance the register.
• Meet productivity standards such as sales per hour and entries per minute.
• Bag items according to store standards and keep work areas clean.
• Use equipment safely, comply with food safety and hygiene standards, and perform any related duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma (preferred).
• Knowledge of the cash register system.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work various shifts and handle pressure.
• Team spirit and effective communication.
