About the role
Apna Doors & Mouldings Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our Surrey team. You will work on a variety of interior finish projects, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and compliance with building codes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare labour and material cost estimates for projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Create layout plans that meet building code standards using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and related hardware.
- Estimate material quantities and overall project costs.
Required profile
- Strong judgment and reliability.
- Team‑player attitude.
- 3 to 5 years of hands‑on finish carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with measuring tools and layout techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and sketches.
- Skilled in cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and related materials.
- Experience installing windows, doors, stairs, and mouldings.
