Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to support our accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The role works closely with the Controller and the accounting team, handling day‑to‑day tasks, month‑end closing, audits, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support the Controller in managing the accounting team and daily financial operations.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Support monthly reporting cycles and conduct variance analysis.
• Create dashboards and performance reports for leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to understand financial performance drivers.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Handle ad‑hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual in French and English; English essential for external vendor communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Zoho, SAP, or Oracle.
