Finance Faculty Position – Management Department

About the role

We are seeking an experienced academic to teach a core finance course within the Management faculty. The role involves delivering lectures, guiding students through practical financial analysis, and assessing their performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures covering time value of money, term structure of interest rates, valuation of securities, financial statement analysis, financial planning, working capital management, and sources of financing.
• Introduce capital budgeting techniques and concepts of risk, return, and options.
• Develop course materials, case studies, and assessment tools.
• Provide mentorship and support to students throughout the semester.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in business, board service, or active participation in professional associations within the last five years.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level is an asset.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
