Family/General Practitioner – New Primary Care Clinic in Nanaimo

About the role

We are launching a brand‑new primary‑care clinic in Nanaimo and are seeking a Family or General Practitioner to join our team. You will provide comprehensive primary‑care services, work with modern AI‑enabled workflows, and practice medicine at the top of your license.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary‑care consultations for a rapidly growing patient panel.
• Perform minor procedures, women’s health services, and chronic‑disease management.
• Utilise AI documentation tools, automated recalls, and patient‑messaging systems.
• Collaborate with nurses, billing specialists, and central IT/HR support.
• Participate in hybrid care delivery (in‑clinic and virtual).

Required profile

• Medical licence to practice Family/General Medicine in British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Willingness to work in a team‑based, technology‑driven environment.
• Ability to adapt scope of practice to personal interests (e.g., women’s health, procedures).
• Provisional candidates may apply with supervision; immigration support available.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Experience using AI‑enabled documentation tools.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and integrated e‑fax/referral systems.

• 70/30 revenue split (FFS, LFP, or PCN) with typical earnings $350K‑$500K+ CAD per year.
