Family Law Clerk – Toronto

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Clerk to join our Toronto office. The role supports a general law practice with a focus on family law matters, offering a hybrid work environment and a range of benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports for family law cases.
• Review and proofread legal documents and correspondence to ensure procedural compliance and correct grammar.
• Utilize Divorcemate Software, MS Word and PCLaw in the Cloud to manage case files and client information.
• Assist with incorporation, income tax, expropriation and other family law related tasks.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a general law practice, preferably with family law exposure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Divorcemate Software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Experience using PCLaw in the Cloud.
