Fall 2026 Teaching Assistant Positions – Biology Department

About the role

The Biology Department is hiring teaching assistants for the Fall 2026 term. Up to 100 positions are available across a wide range of undergraduate biology courses, with a workload of 45 to 180 hours per term.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in teaching activities for assigned biology courses listed in the posting.
• Support laboratory sessions, tutorials, and discussion sections.
• Help with grading, assessment preparation, and providing feedback to students.
• Contribute to course administration and related duties as required.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
• Ability to manage 45–180 work hours per term.
