Faculty Lecturer – Business Planning & Entrepreneurship

About the role
This position involves delivering a cross‑functional, experiential course that introduces students to the fundamentals of business planning within an entrepreneurial environment. The instructor will guide a class of up to 36 students through project‑based learning that actively engages with the community.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver curriculum covering business planning and entrepreneurship.
- Facilitate experiential, project‑based learning activities.
- Engage students with community partners and real‑world business challenges.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain course records and adhere to university policies.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or a related business discipline.
- Recent (within five years) professional experience such as board service, participation in professional associations, or policy‑making bodies.
- Consideration given to candidates with an undergraduate degree plus a relevant professional designation.
- Prior university teaching experience is an asset.
