Faculty Lecturer – Business Planning & Entrepreneurship

About the role
This position involves teaching a cross‑functional, experiential, project‑based course that introduces the fundamentals of business planning within an entrepreneurial environment. The instructor will work with a class of up to 36 students and actively engage with community partners.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver curriculum covering business planning and entrepreneurship.
- Facilitate project‑based learning activities and supervise student teams.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with community organizations to create real‑world learning opportunities.
- Maintain and update course materials and resources.
Required profile
- Master's degree in a field relevant to business planning, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in business, board service, or active participation in professional associations or policy‑making bodies within the last five years.
- Consideration given to candidates with an undergraduate degree plus a relevant professional designation.
- Previous university teaching experience is an asset.
