Experienced Travel Consultant – Canada & Alaska (65K+)

About the role

Discover Holidays Inc. is seeking experienced Travel Designers to join its growing team in downtown Vancouver. In this full‑time position you will create bespoke itineraries for clients traveling across Canada and Alaska, turning their travel dreams into unforgettable journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to capture travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints.
• Design custom itineraries that include accommodation, transportation, activities, and dining.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of attractions, accommodations, and experiences in Canada and Alaska.
• Coordinate all logistics such as flights, ground transport, reservations, and activities.
• Manage client budgets while delivering high‑quality experiences.
• Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Provide ongoing client support throughout the trip and address any issues promptly.
• Stay informed on travel regulations, health protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Collect post‑trip feedback and use it to improve future offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel consulting, itinerary planning, or a related customer‑service role.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian and Alaskan destinations, activities, and cultural highlights.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Passion for travel and commitment to delivering extraordinary experiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with travel‑planning software and tools.
