Experienced Civil Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator to support the execution of civil construction projects in the Fraser Valley. The role involves coordinating site activities, assisting with surveying and inspections, and ensuring accurate reporting while working closely with field teams and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules.
• Perform quality control assessments and project inspections.
• Compile project submittals, RFIs, and complete reports.
• Assist the Project Superintendent with crew supervision and site surveying.
• Track quantities, analyze productivity, and report to management.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage junior coordinators and interns in their day‑to‑day tasks.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 4 + years experience in civil construction within a contracting firm.
• Ability to travel within British Columbia and work outdoors on active sites.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Physically capable of walking uneven terrain and carrying up to 20 kg.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS and/or total station for surveying and layout.
• Experience in site surveying and quantity tracking.
