Experienced Carpenter – Permanent Full‑Time Position

About the role
Trendsetter Framing Limited is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our Chestermere, AB site on a permanent full‑time basis. You will be responsible for preparing labour and material cost estimates, interpreting blueprints, and constructing structural components for residential projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare estimates of labour and material costs and schedule work on site.
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel to build foundations, floor beams, sub‑flooring, walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Supervise other workers and coordinate site activities.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Use of measuring tools.
- Cutting, shaping and assembling wood and related materials.
- Joining wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
