Drywall Finisher & Plasterer

About the role

Jai Drywall Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher and Plasterer for a permanent, full‑time position in Chestermere, AB. You will work on both interior and exterior projects, applying plaster, installing drywall, and creating finished surfaces to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster; cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets, metal corner beads, and suspended metal ceiling grids.
• Fabricate and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and acoustic ceiling tiles.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms; work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Tap joints, embed tape, and finish corners and angles with decorative designs when required.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of hands‑on experience in drywall finishing and plaster work.
• Ability to work flexible hours, handle physical tasks, and operate hand and power tools safely.
• Experience cutting openings for HVAC, electrical, and ventilation systems.
