Experienced Bricklayer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a skilled bricklayer to join our team at P & M Masonry and Construction Ltd in Surrey. The role involves working on a variety of residential, commercial and institutional projects, delivering high‑quality masonry work. You will work on site, handling physically demanding tasks while ensuring safety and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles and other masonry units.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry components, patios, garden walls and decorative installations.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate material requirements and cut/trims bricks to specification.
• Build residential and commercial chimneys, fireplaces and industrial chimney shells.
• Line furnaces, kilns and boilers with refractory or acid‑resistant bricks.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in bricklaying or masonry work.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for site travel.
• Physically fit to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods.
• Reliability, teamwork and client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Bricklaying and masonry construction.
• Blueprint reading and material estimation.
• Use of hand and power tools for cutting and trimming masonry units.
