Executive Housekeeper – Hotel

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping team at a hotel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with other departments, and managing day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Hire, train, and arrange training for cleaning staff.
• Establish work schedules for housekeeping personnel.
• Coordinate work activities with other hotel departments.
• Assist cleaners in performing their duties when needed.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 5‑10 workers.
• Recommend or arrange additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Required profile

• Client‑focused, dependable, flexible, and proactive.
• Good judgement and reliability.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate/diploma (1‑2 years).
• Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 people.
