Executive Assistant to Senior Vice-President

About the role
CIBC is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a Senior Vice-President. The role provides high‑level administrative assistance, ensuring the executive’s day runs smoothly while contributing to the efficiency of the department.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, book rooms and arrange IT resources.
- Screen, prioritize and triage incoming email, highlighting items that require the executive’s attention.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, process expense reports and handle invoice submissions.
- Prepare confidential correspondence, minutes, reports and presentations, including management decks.
- Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including technology, corporate card and travel profile setup.
- Act as a delegate for Workday transactions and other administrative processes.
Required profile
- Experienced administrative professional with strong judgment, discretion and organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs, work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a focus on professionalism.
