About the role
The Toronto Transit Commission is seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer. This role ensures the CEO’s office runs smoothly, handling calendar management, travel coordination, and stakeholder communications in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings and aligning commitments with organizational priorities.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries directed to the CEO’s office.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for internal and external meetings, ensuring follow‑up actions are tracked.
- Liaise with senior leadership, board members, government representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain the executive office environment in collaboration with IT, Facilities, and Property Services.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience providing high‑level administrative support to senior executives.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Adaptability to a dynamic, fast‑moving workplace.
Required skills
- Proficiency in calendar and email management tools.
- Experience with travel booking platforms.
- Ability to prepare professional documents and presentations.
What we offer
- Competitive salary range of $96,460 – $120,611 CAD per year.
- Permanent, full‑time position with a 35‑hour work week.
