About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative support to senior executives and board committees within a community‑based shelter environment. Working in an urban setting, the role ensures smooth daily operations, prepares critical documents, and coordinates meetings and events.
Key responsibilities
- Compile data and prepare reports, memoranda, and presentations for executive committees and boards.
- Establish and coordinate administrative policies, procedures, and quality‑control processes.
- Organize agendas, arrange travel itineraries, and manage reservations for executives.
- Prepare invoices, financial statements, contracts, and other official documents.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate daily operational activities, including event management.
- Liaise with departmental officials, corporate partners, and external associations.
- Conduct research and maintain production records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Experience in quality assurance or improvement, preferably in addiction or substance‑abuse settings.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a community‑focused environment.
