About the role
The University seeks reliable individuals to serve as exam invigilators at the McLennan Library. Invigilators work under the guidance of the Chief Invigilator and the Exam Deputy to create a quiet, fair environment that allows each student to perform to the best of their abilities during examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise exam sessions and enforce the University Exam Regulations.
- Maintain a distraction‑free environment in the exam room.
- Monitor students continuously to prevent cheating or other misconduct.
- Secure all exam materials and ensure they are returned safely after each session.
- Report any irregularities or incidents to the Exam Deputy promptly.
Required profile
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work at the McLennan Library campus in Quebec.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, to communicate exam instructions clearly.
- Attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the exam period.
