Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager is responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinating with sales, property departments, and customers to deliver a high‑level service throughout the pre‑event, event, and post‑event phases. This role focuses on events of average complexity and ensures a seamless turnover from sales to service and back.

Key responsibilities

• Manage event logistics and operations, ensuring procedures are followed and details are accurate.
• Greet customers during the event phase and transition responsibilities to the Event Operations team.
• Oversee billing accuracy, conduct bill reviews with clients, and process final invoices.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for average to large‑sized groups.
• Identify operational challenges and develop alternative solutions in collaboration with property staff and customers.
• Act as liaison between field salespeople and customers throughout the event lifecycle.
• Participate in site inspections and support the sales process as needed.
• Collect feedback from property departments to improve the event planning experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1‑2 years of event‑management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
