Estimator – Industrial & Heavy Civil Projects

About the role

We’re looking for an Estimator with significant experience in infrastructure, heavy civil and industrial projects. The successful candidate will develop accurate, competitive and executable estimates from concept through submission, working closely with pre‑construction, operations and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for heavy civil, water, wastewater and infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and contracts to identify scope, assumptions, risks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare pricing summaries and support bid submissions.
• Assist with conceptual budgets, design‑build pursuits and value‑engineering exercises.
• Collaborate with senior estimators, project managers and field teams to ensure estimates reflect practical construction methods.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of estimating experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, water or wastewater treatment, or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communicator who works well with office and field teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to visit project sites.
