About the role
Join SPROTT as an Equity Trader, operating from our Toronto office in a hybrid setting. You will execute buy and sell orders on behalf of investment dealers and clients while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Buy and sell securities on the stock exchange for investment dealers and clients.
- Ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory standards.
- Develop and refine trading strategies by analyzing market data and collaborating with fellow traders.
- Research financial literature to identify investment opportunities.
- Create risk‑management plans and conduct ongoing market research.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2–3 years of experience in equity trading or related finance roles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and independent work capability.
