Entry-Level Controller – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

Saica Pack US is looking for a motivated entry‑level Controller to join its corrugated packaging plant in Hamilton, Ohio. You will support the plant’s financial operations, learn Saica’s processes, and develop toward a long‑term finance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing plant budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support monthly close activities, financial reporting, and P&L analysis.
• Analyze cost variances related to labor, production, scrap, overtime, and other operational expenses.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure SAP data integrity.
• Partner with operations to identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and KPI summaries for plant leadership.
• Participate in inventory tracking, cycle‑count reconciliation, and audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn Saica’s culture.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
