Entry-Level Automation & AI Application Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Automation & AI Application Developer to join a US‑headquartered AI‑enabled market research firm. The role focuses on building AI‑powered workflows and productivity tools using low‑code platforms, under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI‑enabled automation workflows with tools such as Copilot Studio, n8n, Zapier, Make or Workato.
• Configure triggers, actions, and conversational flows for internal or customer‑facing use cases.
• Integrate workflows with APIs, data sources and business systems using provided patterns.
• Translate clearly defined business requirements into automation logic and workflow steps.
• Test and validate workflows and agent interactions to ensure reliability.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting and iterative improvement of existing automations.
• Collaborate with product, operations and technical teams to identify new automation opportunities.
• Document workflows, logic flows and usage guidelines for maintainability.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in automation, software development, IT or a related technical field.
• Hands‑on experience (professional, academic or project‑based) with at least one automation platform (Copilot Studio, n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato).
• General familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and prompt‑based interactions.
• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON and data‑flow concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional partners.
