About the role

The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation is seeking a motivated co‑op student to join its Enterprise Architecture team for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. You will support the implementation of an enterprise‑wide architecture repository, gaining hands‑on experience in a leading investment management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with data migration and configuration of the new enterprise architecture tool.
• Collaborate with the IT team to test, deploy, and document the tool’s implementation processes.
• Prepare technical specifications and user guides for internal stakeholders.
• Support architecture impact assessments to evaluate changes and their implications.
• Participate in AI governance activities, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Contribute to various IT projects by providing technical support and innovative solutions.
• Engage in team meetings and project discussions, offering insights and feedback.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science).
• Strong analytical and modeling abilities.
• Interest in enterprise architecture and investment‑industry technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior IT and business managers.
