About the role
Join Elk Valley Resources as an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) in Mining, reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, Short Range Planning. You will support the engineering department by providing accurate as‑built data and ensuring reliable controls for mine plan execution while participating in a four‑year rotational development program.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update as‑built data required for planning and design work.
- Implement and monitor accurate operational controls to execute the mine plan.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement of existing engineering systems.
- Develop, integrate, and ensure reliability of new engineering systems.
- Collaborate with all mine‑site departments and build positive working relationships.
Required profile
- Highly motivated recent engineering graduate or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork.
- Adaptability to changing roles within a mining environment.
- Positive, forward‑thinking attitude with good prioritisation skills.
