Engineering Manager, Growth

About the role

Relay is looking for an Engineering Manager, Growth to lead the product experiences that guide businesses through registration, activation, and monetization. You will shape technical strategy, drive delivery, and build a high‑performing team in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and business goals.
• Establish and maintain engineering processes such as sprint planning, code reviews, and technical design reviews.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute the technical vision aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align engineering work with user needs and business outcomes.
• Build and grow a high‑performing engineering team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software development experience, preferably in high‑growth B2B SaaS or fintech.
• 1‑3 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong technical foundation with a proven track record of shipping high‑quality products.
• Excellent communication, calm under ambiguity, and a customer‑centric decision‑making approach.
