Endoscopy Nurse

About the role

Laval Clinic is looking for a qualified Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse (Technician) with specific experience in endoscopy. Reporting to the Medical Manager, you will provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures while ensuring safety and a high‑quality patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients prior to endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Document all nursing interventions accurately in the patient’s medical record.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and infection‑prevention standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Required profile

• Current member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
• Diploma in nursing from a recognized institution.
• Licensed as a Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse (Technician).
• Two to five years of experience in endoscopy.
• Patient‑centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience performing endoscopic procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
