Emergency Physician – Full/Part Time

About the role

Fraser Health and the Burnaby Hospital Emergency Physicians Group are seeking board‑certified Emergency Physicians for full‑time and part‑time positions in a high‑volume, multicultural emergency department near downtown Vancouver. The department is well supported, offers competitive remuneration, and provides a collaborative environment with strong ties to UBC medical school.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
• Participate in dedicated code‑blue coverage and triage physician duties.
• Provide outpatient follow‑up and coordinate further investigations.
• Contribute to the rapid‑assessment zone and support the department’s redevelopment projects.

Required profile

• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) certified in Emergency Medicine, or CCFP‑EM emergency trained and certified, or ABEM certified.
• Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
• CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable.
